Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass

We are in NYC. We’re staying with Dan in Brooklyn. Next week, we will take the train to Boston and see Dave. This trip should be a welcomed respite from the seemingly never ending onslaught of political ads that have been building for weeks. I have been routinely hearing Anne talk back to the TV in the next room as I fix dinner. I look forward to embracing our own little cocoon of silence. Idyllic as this all may sound, into each life a little rain must fall. The remnants of hurricane Willa that struck the Pacific coast of Mexico earlier this week is due here this weekend as a nor’easter. Sounds like a good museum day. I hope that we don’t find any bombs while we are there,
