Yet Another Antelope Canyon Pic

2017 has been a banner year for travel. Our itinerary this year included, NYC, London, Monterey, Lake Superior and Utah. It has been a great year, but we’re not ones to rest on our laurels and have already begun planning our 2018 trips. In addition to our usual cabin sojourn, which this year will feature a wedding, we also want to visit California again. We’ll want visit both NYC and Boston, just to see the boys. Whew! That’s a lot of travel, but doesn’t yet include any of our marquee travel plans.

We’ve begun working up two such trips. We’ll head west again. This time going further north than we went this year. This will be a car camping road trip. Our eventual destination will be Glacier. We want to get there before all of the ice is gone. We’ll also visit Yellowstone, Rushmore, Devil’s Tower, the Badlands and more along the way. We’re still working out the details of this trip. Our other big trip is also a road trip, but headed in the opposite direction. We want to go south to Florida. We want to hit the beaches, seeing both the ocean and the gulf. Our eventual destinations will be the Everglades and the keys. I’m thinking that we’ll head down on the Atlantic side and comeback by the gulf. On both of these trips we will be exploring areas of the country that we have not seen much of yet. Your ideas or suggestions would be welcomed. We could use your help. 2018 looks like an adventure and it should be a lot of fun too.
