The tannin that flows from cedar swamps into the Tahquamenon River and then over its falls, gives the water a deep full-bodied color. Watching the water fall and then foam, it is easy for me to imagine the falls as the worlds largest beer tap. Dispensing hundreds of gallons of beer per second. The nearby brewery that has real suds to drink, only serves to enhance this illusion of mine about beer.
I was just wondering why the line between the falling tanin water and the horizontal water it is falling into looks somehow unnatural. Is it “photo-shopped” or otherwise doctored?
A little, it was dark and rainy
I LOVE the U.P.! Yah, hey!
Yep!
Beautiful photo and I enjoyed the beer illusion!
Thanks!
