Northern Green Frog

Dan arrived at the cabin yesterday. He’ll be here for a few days, before he heads back to Saint Louis and then Brooklyn. Today, we lunched at Clyde’s the Soo’s long running hamburger stand. Tomorrow, we’ll head to the Dancing Crane for more coffee. Tomorrow was supposed to be the big road repair day, but our chain gang was unable to obtain the necessary heavy equipment. So, it looks like that effort will have to be tabled. It’s too bad, because the weather turned cooperative for a change. The Green Tunnel road has been awful this year, with potholes all up and down it and after it rains, which it has been doing a lot of this summer, those holes fill with water turning the road into 10,000 lakes. After tomorrow, the forecast looks like another week of rain.
