Pass Over

Today, we drove from Ann Arbor to the cabin. It was an easy drive, without much traffic. As we neared the lake, it began to rain,but it didn’t last long. Just before dinner,we ducked down to the beach, for a short walk. Most of the mergansers were still hanging out on the rocks. My have they grown in the two weeks that we’ve been gone. The frogs in the creek were all gone. I think that the seagull tracks might have something to do with that. We heard crickets walking back. Well, it is getting on into the later half of August now.
