Sultan Carl
It’s been a long day, up at four, at work by six, worked until six and then baseball until midnight. Tomorrow is going to come all too early. Still, it was nice to see Jay and Carl again. It was a Saturday night game with a big crowd. A crowd enhanced by the visiting Tigers, but more importantly because it was a bobble-head game. I arrived too late to get one, but that’s OK, because it means less to haul home. Carl gave up his seat and let me sit with Jay. After the game I offered them a ride home. I got plenty of time to speak with Carl then, because we were stuck in traffic for a long, long time. I had parked in a structure that was totally grid-locked. I don’t know what with all of the traffic I got them home any earlier or not, but at least they didn’t have to walk back home.

How did the Sounders do? I notice Jay is doubling up on her sports jerseys. I am disappointed that Mark is not wearing a platinum blond wig, however. –Anne
Sounders won 4-0 over Real Salt Lake (undefeated before meeting the Sounders this year),
Mariners won 3-2 over Detroit, and then 4-0 this afternoon.
Great to see Mark, although we felt a little guilty about adding to his lack of sleep. He had already been at work for an hour before I rolled out of bed this morning.
