I got out of Saint Louis today. I was being chased out-of-town by thunderstorms. The gate attendant was chivying all 144 of us onboard as fast as she could. If we didn’t depart in time, we would end up in the red-zone, end up being red-lined or just end up in the red. Whatever it was, it didn’t sound good, but we did make it out on time. After a layover in Denver, I landed in Seattle just after five. I have a travel partner, Alex, who is new. I’m showing him the ropes. I took him by the plant, and then we found the hotel, where we ate in. Soon we go around the clock. I drew the day shift, six-to-six, banker’s hours. Alex drew the short straw and got the other six-to-six. We’ll hold until relieved.
Sometimes I choose seats on the plane just for the chance to have a good viewing
That’s what I did
