Into Harms Way

Jay, Carl, Ashlan and Rey arrived at the cabin on Friday. So, in one fell swoop the cabin’s population has doubled. Harry took everyone out for dinner at the Cozy Inn. There being eight of us we got our own separate table. I like most people had the Whitefish. I had mine breaded of course. We had three kinds of fries, curly, chives and Cozy. It was a good meal. It must have been, because Harry and Bubs are going back tonight. There is a reprise of Gene’s high school reunion going on. This leaves us kids to fend for ourselves and they didn’t even hire a babysitter. Dave is due in tonight, rocketing north from Purdue, but probably not in time to make our dinnertime, such as it is.
