My brothers, Chris and Frank, went hiking in the Pinnacles again and sent in these lovely photographs. This time they approached this national monument from the west side, the Soledad side, instead of the more popular eastern approach. There is a bill moving through Congress to upgrade the Pinnacles from a national monument to a national park. I hope that the law is passed.
Anne and I survived this year’s MS-150 bicycle ride. Well, we really did more than survive, we actually enjoyed ourselves. Give me a day to organize the photos and then tune in again, say tomorrow, to hear all about it.
I love these shots! The top of the barn in the first shot is a nice effect. I love shots of barns.
