Trains, Planes and Automobiles

Yesterday was a travel day. I walked to the MetroLink stop and took the train to the airport. I flew to Detroit Metro and Anne picked me up at the airport, we immediately started driving north. I symbolically waved to Anne and Bill around Houghton. We stopped for gas north of Saginaw and on the north side of the Mackinac Bridge. We exited I-75 at Rudyard and drove to the Cabin via Tilson Road. We saw Sandhill Cranes near the M-28 end of Tilson. We made it to the Cabin by seven, for me, twelve hours portal to portal. My time beat Dan’s and Annie’s by only half an hour. They must have been flying too. Dinner, walked the beach, sunset, froggie and a competition for world domination rounded out the day.
