Setting the Standard

standardsign

When we first moved to Saint Louis this was a Standard sign.  Then it became an AMOCO sign.   Now the station is a BP station, but the sign remains.  It is a huge sign and is set up on a hill.  So as you drive west on the highway, you get a good long look at it.  I took this picture yesterday morning, while biking in the Park.

After the plumber left yesterday, Anne and I went out to dinner at Houlihan’s.  We always use to like to take the boys to Houlihan’s when they were little.  The restaurant is always so noisy the even the boys of noise were drown out.  Afterwards, Anne and I did some Christmas shopping.
